Rick Knowles is a Christ-follower, husband to a fantastic wife, father to a wonderful daughter, and father to a strapping young lad. He is currently the Director of Operations of EastLake Church in Chula Vista, California. He juggles a variety of departments, from daily operations to construction to information technology to emergency response teams to men’s groups with a little of everything in between. Essentially, Rick can run your business, fix your computers, beat you down, and bandage you up. Prior to joining the EastLake Church team, he was a successful Area Coach, earning an unofficial MBA in management and leadership through his experiences in both the pizza and burger business. In his spare time, Rick performs experiments with exercise and nutrition, doing CrossFit-style workouts and trying out dietary adjustments to optimize his health. Currently, he’s on the edge of paleo-style eating having gone sugar-free and gluten-free and feeling great!
Sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes irreverent, sometimes thoughtful, occasionally funny, often practical, Rick manages to move thoughts to keyboard across an unpredictable array of subjects to an ever-increasing band of followers believed to be in the double digits.
